This Is Not the Plan That I Have for Your Life!
“When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” John 5:6 NKJV I can relate to that paralyzed man laying beside the Pool of Bethesda for 38 years. Crippled. Watching others walk past him…

Why do I believe in God?
Because when I have been on my knees, broken, without hope, looking in the mirror at the man who had lost his North and his identity, shouting out God where are you, he has held me close and carried me. As I stood over the bed of my dying mother, pleading for her life with…

It May Look Different
There was a man who lived in the path of a coming hurricane. As others fled inland to higher ground, he boldly said “the Lord will take care of me.” As the waters reached his door, kind people came by and said get in our truck and we will take you to safety. The man…

How Long Will You Wait
I remember sitting in a conference room at a manufacturer in Shenzhen, China in 2002, making the comment, “we are seeing a trend in America,” to which the company’s representatives looked at each other as the translator delivered my words and chuckled with one another. When I asked why they chuckled, the General Manager replied…
